I also love history with the early to high medieval English period being my main area of focus. But I also love exploring and researching other time periods.

I enjoy walking in North Wales, the Lake District, and other areas of outstanding natural beauty. In the past I was an avid rock climber. I have travelled to the USA doing a tour of the National Parks where I visited the Grand Canyon, Zion, Death Valley, Bryce, Archers, and Canyon Lands to name but a few.
